reseller. BellSouth hosts customer solutions in fully secure,
hardened facilities designed to withstand natural and man-made
disasters.
Each BellSouth e-Business Center has been designed to a carrier
class connectivity standard of excellence of N + 1. This level
of excellence resulted in the Miami e-Business Center not
only remaining fully operational during Hurricane Andrew,
it was also used to provide power to the local communities
for several days!
Regarding Our Systems and Platforms
We have
dedicated lines directly connected to UUNET 's T-3 backbone,
one of the largest and most reliable Internet service providers
in the nation. For redundancy connections and backups, we
have a mirror site with dedicated lines through another service
provider (PSI) who is on a separate network from UUNET. We
have all our servers in house and maintain backup servers
at our second site. We have a direct connection via a private
leased-line with Ridge Clearing (WSE's clearing firm).
This is the connection we use to execute your trades on the
exchanges. We also have "cold" backup servers and
routers ready to be used at anytime in case of system difficulty.
